Why All Access and the Builder Pack This is the best time in history to build something.

For a long time, it’s been possible to one-shot impressive demos, but they’d fall flat the minute they hit production. But the release of GPT-5.6-Sol and Fable 5 heralds a new era: Everyone can build, launch, and maintain the software that they’ve always dreamed of. Everyone is a builder now.

There’s just one catch: Building with AI is very expensive. (Ask me how I know.) (Alright, I’ll tell you. I accidentally used 2 billion tokens overnight this week on a big GPT-5.6-Sol run. Worth it.)

This is unique in the history of technology. For most of the personal computing era, a billionaire and a solo builder could buy essentially the same top-of-the-line Mac. AI changes that: The more tokens you can afford, the more you can make.

And we want to make that accessible to more people. That’s why the main feature of our new All Access plan is the Builder Pack: more than $7,000 in credits and discounts on the full stack we use to run Every, from idea to production—Codex, Claude, PostHog, Render, Gemini, FLORA, and more.

Early-bird membership is only 500/yearforthenext24hoursandtheCodexcreditsaloneareworth500/year for the next 24 hours—and the Codex credits alone are worth 1,000.

(I could’ve used it for my overnight run this week.)

Now we’re handing it to you.

Get all access: https://t.co/3HlZawcc9N

Meet the Builder Pack It's got more than $7,000 in offers from 10 of the AI products we use to write, design, build, and run @Every:

RT @PrismML: Today, we’re announcing Bonsai 27B: the first 27B-class model to run on a phone.

Bonsai 27B is the new multimodal flagship of the Bonsai family. Based on Qwen3.6 27B, it brings a new capability tier to local AI: multi-step reasoning, structured tool use, long-context workflows, and coherent agentic loops.

Until now, models in this class have been impractical to deploy locally. A 27B model occupies roughly 54 GB in 16-bit precision, and even a strong 4-bit build is around 18GB - too large for a phone and for most laptops. Bonsai 27B changes that.

It comes in two variants: • Ternary Bonsai 27B: 5.9 GB, 1.71 effective bits per weight, optimized for laptop-class quality. • 1-bit Bonsai 27B: 3.9 GB, 1.125 effective bits per weight, optimized for phone-class footprint.

Everything is open-sourced today under the Apache 2.0 license.

demis calling for a new AI organization responsible for governing new models going forward, some highlights:

  • the org would create a protocol for assessing new models 30 days before release, ai labs would be required to share model cards etc before.

  • model review group composed of frontier ai researchers from labs + open source.

-ai industry will fund the effort in order to attract the smartest talent + pay for the compute to test new models throroughly.

  • america should be the ones to create and own this as the leading country for AI growth.

  • if a model is deemed a national security risk then model release will be slowed down.

basically sounds like what the government is already doing but in a more formal body like FINRA or the SEC and way more transparency,.

Demis Hassabis the CEO of Google DeepMind just published an essay calling AGI a "few short years away" and comparing it not to the internet or mobile, but to the discovery of fire.

Then he wrote this:

"Nobody in the world knows for sure what is going to happen from here, and even the experts disagree."

Read it again.

His estimate on impact: 10x the Industrial Revolution at 10x the speed.

And then he proposes a fix...

A US Standards Body modeled on FINRA, the financial regulator that governs Wall Street. Funded by industry. Labs share models 30 days before release. Once the protocol works, it becomes mandatory: a model must pass to ship in the US market. Agentic systems tested specifically for deception and guardrail bypass. Benchmarks updated quarterly.

The framework applies to any frontier model regardless of country of origin. Chinese or American. Open or closed.

That line is doing more work than it looks like....

  • DeepSeek claimed to train a GPT-4 level model for $6 million and open-sourced it to the world.
  • Alibaba's Qwen now commands over 50% of global open-source model downloads.
  • ByteDance's Doubao crossed 100 million daily users.

The US is not building this alone.

A Standards Body with no reach into Chinese models has a very large hole in it. US market access as a compliance condition is the only lever that actually closes it.

Here is the tension the essay does not resolve...

Google DeepMind is one of the labs racing hardest toward the thing Hassabis says nobody understands. Alphabet spent $91 billion on capital expenditure in 2025. He is simultaneously pressing the accelerator and asking someone else to build the brakes.

He has been right before. Neural networks when academia said they were dead. Games as the ladder to science. AlphaFold solving what biology could not solve in 50 years. Nobel Prize, 2024. His track record on long contrarian bets is not average.

Which is why the admission buried in this essay matters more than the proposal. The person most likely to know what comes next just wrote publicly that nobody knows what comes next.

A 30-day review window. For something he compares to the discovery of fire.

That is either the most important policy proposal in AI this year or evidence that even the people building this have no idea how to slow it down.

I think it is both.\n\nQT @demishassabis: https://t.co/PTeDiv1b6L

Grok 4.5 reaches #1 position on Long-Horizon Terminal-Bench\n\nQT @tetsuoai: The Long-Horizon Terminal-Bench paper landed around May and concluded that the results showed headroom for improvement. The best of the 15 models they tested finished seven of the 46 tasks, and the mean across all models was about two. That ceiling is what fifth place looks like on the current board.

Grok 4.5 is now at 13, and Fable 5 is at 12. A single task costs around 9.9M tokens, 231 episodes, and 85 minutes of wall clock time. That means agents are holding a plan across all of it and finishing, and that capability nearly doubled in two months.

SpaceXAI is on top, and they marketed the 4.2x output token efficiency, which undersells it. Two dollars in, six out, per million. On a benchmark where one task burns ten million tokens, the bill is dominated by input replay, and they say Grok 4.5 solves tasks in under half the number of steps, so there is less accumulated context to resend on every call. The efficiency compounds on the input side, which is the side that costs money.

Fable 5 is one task behind. Their own launch chart has them losing DeepSWE 1.1 to Fable by 17 points, and Grok 4.20 sits on this same board at 0.080 with zero completions, so whatever happened in 4.5 is not a family trait.

My read is that the 4.5 jump came out of training alongside Cursor, which is a stream of real agentic edit trajectories nobody else has at that volume, and nothing in the counterevidence argues against it compounding into the next checkpoint.
